Stiftlandmuseum Waldsassen

A journey through the past

In the Stiftland Museum, you will find original and lovingly compiled exhibits in more than 50 sections on four floors. The specialized regional museum stands out due to its largest collection of old workshops and handicraft tools in the Upper Palatinate (Oberpfalz). Come and marvel at the world of the cobbler, saddler or locksmith back in the old days. You definitely should have seen the old barber surgeon’s place, the traditional general store and the classroom as well.
